Hello everyone, this is Miyoshi Shizuka.
In this update, I’ve added a sprint feature and made a number of improvements, along with fixing several issues that could interfere with gameplay.

• Sprint Function
Press Left Trigger on a controller or the V key on your keyboard to increase your character’s movement speed. This makes it easier to explore large areas.

• Improved the function of “Revenge”
It now loads the most recent save data instead of opening the save slot selection.
If you want to load a different file, returning to the title screen makes more sense.
• Improved melee attack hit detection by slightly expanding the range.
• Improved UI behavior by removing remaining elements that allowed selecting lower layers.
This occurred in the status effect info screen.
• Fixed an issue that allowed players to climb ladders indefinitely.
• Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor was always active during Game Over.
• Improved menu input handling so that pressing number keys no longer displays the character preview while menus other than the inventory are open.
• Fixed Cast Shadow being set to false by default.
• Fixed a freeze that occurred when initializing from the startup screen.
• Fixed a bug where defeating an enemy with Overdrive could cause the corpse to stick to the player.
• Improved terminology consistency in the emotion menu by unifying the wording from “Arouse” to “Evoke”.
• Improved the narrow encounter trigger with the nurses in the hospital stage.
They now reliably block the path, making it harder to slip past.
• Fixed an issue where Overdrive damage sometimes did not apply.
• Fixed a freeze that occurred when closing system settings without saving and immediately selecting New Game on the title screen.
• Improved controller usability in the inventory by widening the character portrait buttons so they can be selected more smoothly.
• Fixed an issue where talk triggers and save point triggers could overlap.
• Fixed an issue where returning to the church after finishing the demo would automatically switch the game to windowed mode.
• Fixed an issue where the cursor temporarily disappeared after selecting an item in the inventory.
• Fixed a misaligned door on the hospital 1F.
There are many items on the list already, so this section covers only the issues identified during this update.
• Dash/Dodge feels a bit too drawn-out
I plan to refine the animation and reduce unnecessary movement.
• Tutorial improvements
• UI operation improvements
• A bug where nurses can clip through walls at certain spots
• Goldfish scooping event can trigger multiple times
This one might actually be fine to leave as-is.
