Version 0.3 - December 5, 2025
Major Fixes:
- Fixed virus construct appearing too early in the game - now correctly triggers only before the final boss battle
- Fixed Forgotten Sector (Alley) mission progression - now only accessible after collecting Code Fragment and Power Core to prevent story
dialogue mismatches
- Fixed Quantum Uplink crafting flow - inventory now auto-closes after crafting and displays the correct "UPLINK READY" button
Minigame Improvements:
- Fixed arcade background music continuing to play after minigame completion
- Fixed music persisting when using debug auto-win feature
- Added proper audio cleanup for all minigame sound effects (PhantomPath, NetBattle, LuckGame, and all arcade games)
- All minigames now properly stop all sounds immediately on win/loss
UI/UX Enhancements:
- Achievement unlock notifications now display for 2.5 seconds (down from 4 seconds) for snappier feedback
- Simplified inventory crafting - click anywhere on an item to select it for combining (no need to click the checkbox specifically)
- Removed outdated "COMBINE (OLD)" button for cleaner interface
Technical:
- Improved audio service tracking to prevent sound nodes from persisting
- Enhanced scene refresh logic for story-critical item crafting
- Better fallback handling for dynamic story node variations
