Hello River Dwellers
Pain put together an amazing comic strip. We will be posting it later this weekend, but we need run it through nightshade. We are also planning the next comic to help us define how the characters interact with each other. There is also the part of putting them in a place where they are easily accesable. We do have a website, so maybe we will start a gallery of the comics that we create.
As for the game assets Pain has made several sketches that are in progress of being wrapped up. Those are going to be a work in progress as we adjust the player physics. Something about the way Clover currently moves and the animations timing don't feel right and we want to adjust that. They have a lot on their plate, so it is a slow process. Remember this isn't our day job, but it is our passion.
Fortunes has been had at work building the different systems since his latest refactor. He build out the Sacred Tree and started designing the world map. There was also a basic enemy controller, but it needs a proper enemy (not just a Godot head with spikes). We apologize for the title screen not being user friendly. That will be something we prioritize this month. For anyone interested in how the seasonal actions work you can hold ctrl + (1,2,3, or 4) and it will change the season. We have plans to include a proper transition, but for now it is just a debug command to help with development, but we wanted to share in case anyone reading this was curious.
