PATCH 1.1.1 - URGENT BUG FIXES
Howdy Cowboys,
After the release of Saloon Slayer 1.1, I've felt the need to fix some issues that have been brought up. Here are the details:
BALANCE CHANGES
- Reduced the buff machine price from $750 to $600
- Rebalanced the later rounds to be possible yet challenging
- Dev Note: Rounds 11+ are automated, so the scaling values were adjusted to scaled faster.
- Dev Note Again: Rounds 7-10 were rebalanced to be more fair but still challenging. The decreased buff price makes it possible to be maxed out by round 10 which made it too easy.
- Rebalanced the punish round (Player kills 3 customers) so that if the player succeeds they will restart at the round they failed
- Dev Note: the decreased buff prices makes it easier to succeed the punishment round, balanced accordingly
BUG FIXES
- Fixed bug where the barricades would keep auto fixing after dying and restarting
- Fixed bug where the player could swap to shotgun while holding beer by using mouse wheel
- Fixed bug where the player could shoot the customers through the front wall with the shotgun
- Added image scaling to the buff icons so they don't take up half the screen when maxed out
- Moved the "Press E to throw beer" prompt as it was being covered by the buff icons
- Attempted to fix a bug where the shotgun would sometimes break and you wouldn't be able to shoot
- Dev Note: Added redundancy in the code as a fail-safe, haven't been able to reproduce the bug since. TBD if fixed
- Attempted to fix a bug where the fail-safe would not trigger in the event a zombie gets stuck Out of Bounds but the player has successfully met the win conditions.
- Dev Note: What is supposed to happen is a 15 second timer gets triggered to end the round if the player is not able to kill the remaining zombies that are out of bounds. TBD if fixed.
That's about it for this patch, please feel free to send me feedback, footage of bugs, your PB or just gameplay for fun. All feedback is appreciated, 'til next time partners!
