Haunted House Patch is Out!

Just a quick summary of what happened and how it went!

A friend helped me find new bugs for the Haunted House and Carnival level! I bugtested pretty much everything myself before uploading the game to itch.io so I'm delightfully surprised that there aren't as many bugs as I thought there were.  I am also completely devastated that the Haunted House was so bug-heavy completion was almost impossible.

Starting with the Haunted House level, I briefly flirted with the idea of looking at the old code but decided I really didn't want to comprehend the badly-written and set off on programming the level from scratch. That totals to 3 times I've started coding this darn level again lol.  This time, I implemented a scene tree, using a Main scene and simply flicking the visibility on and off for individual locations like the Kitchen/Living Room and the Attic. This means Haunted House finally lets you hear the BGM all the way through instead of just restarting in every new room haha. I also fixed the bug where players could click a new object while dialogue was playing for an old one and just... cut off the old object's dialogue. That was a particular problem for the Protagonist's bedroom! There is also additional dialogue for selecting the Tidy, Take, and default statuses for most of the objects and a bit of dialogue edits for old cutscenes too.

OH and since I decided to practice creating a dialogue system again, I may have introduced new dialogue bugs anyways so... I hope nothing goes wrong again! Additionally, I added my dialogue scene and fade node to every location scene which made toggling the visibility of scenes and turning on and off of dialogue boxes a little... tricky. In other words, if you get flashbanged, I am so sorry.

Finally, there was a small dialogue bug for the Carnival level that would cause the dialogue to stay on screen. It would only trigger for fast readers which is probably most people playing as there's not a lot of dialogue in the box anyways. The dialogue box should now turn off whenever a minigame happens, preventing softlocks from happening! Additionally, I was finally able to add the top bun to the food cart minigame so when you hit a successful order, your burger is finally completed <3
