Hello indie gamers! This is the first project I ever completed. I went back and played it again today and I think it actually holds up. It was based on the Udemy course by Heartbeast. Most of what I've learned has been thanks to Heartbeast. I'm a huge fan of Shaun Spalding, Friendly Cosmonaut, and tons of others, but for whatever reason, Ben's videos clicked with me.
So the main thing about this game is that it's an endless gunner, a name which I desperately wanted to use, but was already taken. You have a few hits before you die, but there are power ups that become more and more frequent the longer you last. The higher your score, the more difficult the game gets, but you also get more and better power ups. It's meant to ramp up difficulty, and also your ability to stay alive against insurmountable odds. It's ultra simple, hooks you, and is instantly replayable. I hope you all will enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks!
