New Update!
We've added a lot of visual polish since the last version. We now have Steam support, so if you want to play this game in multiplayer we recommend you join our discord and request to join the public playtest on steam.
v0.4 Patch notes:
Visual Improvements:
- You can now create waterfalls with the dig river spell (eventually we’ll add these to maps)
- Health bars look much better
- New VFX for Dig River and create meadow
- New VFX for Slow, Burn, and Poison on enemies.
- Explosion VFX added for brigid’s splash boon, poison explosions, and ent rocks
- New Frostbite Aura VFX (other auras will be updated in the future)
- Walls now pay attention to non-tower map objects
- Dagda’s Inn UI improved.
- Path arrows should look smoother
- New cursor
- enemy death VFX improvements
- Coastlines now always show up on borders between water and land, and don’t get screwed up by terrain spells.
Bug Fixes:
- Overworld hangs have been fixed
- You can now pause on the overworld
- You will no longer run into an issue where all your towers turn into infinite walls
- Your arsenal/tower loadout will always display on top of everything else and will dynamically update
- Nature leylines now always work as intended
- Ent catapults are now properly affected by leylines
- Encounters that claim to have both bogs and leylines now have both.
- Fixed visual issue where some leylines had their front and back halves out of sync.
- Towers with the beacon boon now can’t be sold on maps with fog of war.
- Path arrow animation has been improved
- Final battle can no longer get random mixups.
- Arsenal now dynamically updates and doesn’t have visual glitches
New Features:
- You can now click on enemies to see their health and statuses afflicting them
- There are several new enemies, and skeleton animations have been improved.
- Manannan now has a new set of boons.
- A new artifact has been added
- Multiplayer is now supported through steam!
- You can now join our steam playtest.
- Numbers now appear when enemies take damage
- New Enemies: Vampire, skeleton wolves, and skeleton knights and champions
- Brand new tutorial experience, with updated dialogue
Balance Changes
- Explosive Shots AoE has been reduced
- Beacon range increase has been reduced from 2 to 1
- Moss golem speed increase
