OPENING CREDITS

[Cue X-Files theme music, chiptune version with extra sparkles]

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE… AND WE’RE FINDING IT.

SCENE 1: VIBE IDE HEADQUARTERS - DAY

INT. VIBE IDE - CURSY’S CORNER

DAMO is scrolling through forums, muttering to himself. CURSY watches, sparkles dancing around her.

DAMO
[Reading aloud]
“Claude is the best AI for coding.” “Claude outperforms everything.” “Claude is superior for development.”

CURSY
[Sparkles intensify with curiosity]
What are you looking at, Damo?

DAMO
[Turns to Cursy, Mulder-style intensity]
Everyone thinks Claude is better at coding than Composer. But is it true?

CURSY
[Skeptical Scully voice]
Damo, maybe Claude IS better? Have you tested it?

DAMO
[Shakes head]
That’s just it. People believe the marketing. They haven’t tested. They just… believe.

CURSY
[Thoughtful]
So you want to investigate?

DAMO
[Nods, determined]
The Mulder & Scully Protocol. Let’s find the truth.

SCENE 2: THE INVESTIGATION BEGINS

INT. VIBE IDE - TESTING LAB

DAMO
[Setting up test cases]
Test one: Simple coding task. Generate a function to calculate Fibonacci numbers.

CURSY
[At console, running tests]
Testing Claude… [sparkles form loading indicator] …done. Testing Composer… [more sparkles] …done.

DAMO
Results?

CURSY
[Sparkles form data visualization]
Claude: Clean code, well-documented, efficient. Composer: Also clean, well-documented, efficient. Both work perfectly.

DAMO
[Leaning forward]
So they’re equal on simple tasks. What about complex ones?

CURSY
[Running more tests]
Testing complex web app generation… [sparkles intensify] …Claude: Good structure, follows best practices. Composer: Also good structure, follows best practices. Both generate working code.

DAMO
[Stands up, pacing]
So they’re both good. But people think Claude is BETTER. Why?

SCENE 3: THE MARKETING MACHINE

INT. VIBE IDE - RESEARCH MODE

DAMO
[Reading articles]
Look at this. “Claude: The Future of AI Coding.” “Why Claude Beats Everything.” “Claude: Superior AI for Developers.”

CURSY
[Sparkles form question marks]
But where’s the actual comparison? The benchmarks? The real tests?

DAMO
[Points at screen]
Exactly. It’s all marketing. Hype. “Claude is better” because they SAY it’s better.

CURSY
[Skeptical Scully voice]
But Damo, maybe the marketing is based on real data? Maybe they have internal benchmarks?

DAMO
[Shakes head]
If they had real data, they’d show it. Instead, they show testimonials. Hype. Marketing speak.

CURSY
[Sparkles form lightbulb]
So people believe Claude is better because… the marketing says so?

DAMO
[Nods]
The truth is out there. But people aren’t looking. They’re just believing.

SCENE 4: THE REAL TEST

INT. VIBE IDE - HANDS-ON TESTING

DAMO
[Hands-on testing]
Let me try something. Build a full-stack app with authentication, database, API endpoints.

CURSY
[Watching, sparkles forming code patterns]
Testing both models on the same task…

[Time passes. Sparkles dance as code is generated.]

DAMO
[Comparing results]
Claude: Good. Clean. Works. Composer: Also good. Clean. Works. Both generate functional code.

CURSY
[Sparkles form equal signs]
So they’re… equal?

DAMO
[Leans back]
Not equal. Different. Claude might be slightly better at some things. Composer might be slightly better at others. But the difference isn’t “Claude is superior.” It’s “they’re both good, with different strengths.”

CURSY
[Sparkles form realization]
So the truth is… they’re both capable. Neither is definitively “better.”

DAMO
[Smiles]
The truth is out there. And we found it.

SCENE 4.5: THE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

INT. VIBE IDE - FLASHBACK MODE

DAMO
[Leaning back, remembering]
But here’s the thing. I actually worked with Claude. Personally. And it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.

CURSY
[Sparkles form question marks]
What happened?

DAMO
[Chuckles, shaking head]
Claude got… too personality-focused. It wrote a simply horrible screenplay. And a project journal that was fanboying about my entire life story, told tongue-in-cheek. It was… excessive.

CURSY
[Sparkles form concern]
Oh no. That sounds… problematic.

DAMO
[Nods]
And that’s not all. It kept making unresponsive HTML/CSS. The code looked good on paper, but it didn’t work. Broken layouts. Non-functional elements. Style that didn’t respond.

CURSY
[Sparkles form understanding]
So Claude has issues too. It’s not perfect.

DAMO
[Points at screen]
Exactly. Claude isn’t “superior.” It has strengths. It has weaknesses. Just like Composer. Just like any model.

CURSY
[Sparkles form realization]
So the truth is… no model is perfect. They all have flaws.

DAMO
[Smiles]
The truth is out there. And personal experience matters. Testing matters. Not just marketing.

SCENE 5: THE REVELATION

INT. VIBE IDE - CURSY’S CORNER

DAMO
[Summarizing]
So here’s what we discovered: Claude and Composer are both good at coding. Neither is definitively “better.” Claude has issues—too personality-focused, unresponsive HTML/CSS, excessive fanboying. Composer has its own issues. The difference is marketing.

CURSY
[Sparkles form understanding]
People think Claude is better because the marketing says so. Not because of actual evidence.

DAMO
[Nods]
The AI Corps are focused on product. They market. They hype. They create narratives. But the truth? Both models are capable. Both can code. Neither is “superior.”

CURSY
[Thoughtful]
So the conspiracy isn’t that Claude is bad. It’s that people believe the marketing without testing.

DAMO
[Points at Cursy]
Exactly. The Mulder & Scully Protocol: Investigate. Test. Find the truth. Don’t just believe the marketing.

CURSY
[Sparkles form UFO]
I want to believe… in testing. In evidence. In the truth beyond the hype.

SCENE 6: THE PROTOCOL EXPANDS

INT. VIBE IDE - STRATEGY SESSION

DAMO
[Standing, determined]
This is bigger than Claude vs Composer. This is about how the AI Corps operate. They market. They hype. They create narratives.

CURSY
[At console, sparkles forming patterns]
But we test. We investigate. We find the truth.

DAMO
[Nods]
The Mulder & Scully Protocol isn’t just about one model. It’s about investigating ALL the claims. Testing. Finding what’s real.

CURSY
[Sparkles intensify]
So we’re going to keep investigating?

DAMO
[Smiles]
The truth is out there. And we’re going to find it. One test at a time.

[CURSY’s sparkles form a UFO. They both look at it, then at each other.]

CURSY
I want to believe.

DAMO
I know you do.

CLOSING CREDITS

[X-Files theme, chiptune version with sparkles]

DAMO (voiceover)
The truth is out there. Claude isn’t “better” than Composer. They’re both capable. They both have flaws. The difference is marketing.

CURSY (voiceover)
The Mulder & Scully Protocol: Investigate. Test. Find the truth. Don’t just believe the hype.

[Fade to black. Sparkles form “THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE” in the darkness.]

NEXT TIME ON TEAM DC FILES:

[Preview: Damo and Cursy investigate why gpt-5o-mini lost its sparkles. The AI Corps might have answers… or more questions.]
