#volumetric lighting #lighting
I'm really excited to finally be able to get back to work on Desiderium today! The last couple of weeks were busy for me, so this will be a quick update as I wasn't able to get too much done.
To add to the lonely and eerie atmosphere of the game, I've started implementing volumetric lighting using V-Light from the Unity Asset store. (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/2037)
It's a pretty nifty tool and I feel it makes adding volumetric light easy enough. It was hard to understand what each adjustable value did at first, but after a couple hours of experimenting and tweaking I think I've got the look I want!
Check out some screenshots below of scenes I've added the effect to:
For my next update, my goal is the have the volumetric effect in every scene, and to have progressed more on the layout of the school.
