Floating in the cold, dark water is somehow both terrifying and oddly calming. The narrow tunnel is a firm bark around you. Time to time the sharp rocks graze your swimsuit which feels like your second skin. With each second spent here you are risking your life, but your unquenchable curiosity leads you deeper and deeper into the cave system...
After an electric brainstorming session, we settled on developing an atmospheric cave diving game. 🤿 It will be a slow-paced but tense experience, a poetic piece. 🪸
We mostly spent time on setting the tone and building the foundation of the project. Our amazing programmer, Agnes, has set up the player movement 🏊; our talented artist, William, has been designing our player character🩱; our extraordinary sound designer, Em, is weaving the complex emotions we want to portray into a melody 🎶; and myself, Vince, I have been preparing some environmental cues unfolding the meaning behind our game. 🔮
