The 0.4.7 update brings several improvements across gameplay, visuals, and UI, making Tiny Vroom feel smoother, clearer, and more polished overall.
You can now freely customize your race setup:
Choose your car before starting a match
Select the number of laps for both Single Player and Multiplayer modes
This adds more control and replayability to each race.
The particle effects have been reworked to be less intrusive and more visually balanced:
Reduced smoke size during skids
Cleaner turbo effects
Better overall readability during races
The track now feels more dynamic without overwhelming the screen.
A number of issues have been fixed and the overall stability improved:
More reliable spline transitions
Better AI behavior and position tracking
Minor logic and timing adjustments to avoid visual and gameplay inconsistencies
The game should now run more smoothly in every situation.
The Single Player HUD has been updated with:
Current lap time
Best lap time
Real-time position (currently for 1-player mode only)
This brings the racing experience closer to a proper time-attack setup.
The Single Player scene now uses fully baked shadows, resulting in:
Better performance
More stable lighting
A smoother overall frame rate, especially on mid- and low-tier hardware
Car movement along the spline has been refined:
Smoother interpolation
Less jitter
More natural cornering feel
The driving sensation is now noticeably more fluid.
The skid animation has been completely reworked:
More accurate response to speed and curve direction
Faster, cleaner transitions
Better visual feedback during drifting
