Greeeeetings everyone!
Slice of Them. It's finally out.
After a whole year (or more), I have finally released this masterpiece. For now, it's a demo, and I've added a majority of balance changes before I decided to release it. As a reference to my 32nd dev log, I still plan to make 4 main updates to this demo, including Combat/skill revamp and balancing, lore and story depethening, balancing to skill distributions and potions, and creating better SFX, music, and voice lines.
As for a game that I've worked on independently for the majority of the year, I feel as if this is a great accomplishment for myself to actually release.
For a side note, the full release (planned for next year) will include many new things, but the most notable are:
There's a lot to be planned, but these will hopefully be much better after another year of development. And you can take a look at it for a dollar.
Speaking of developer logs, since this is our 35th log, here's the official trailer for the demo!
And since that trailer is out..
GO TRY THE DEMO OUT FOR FREE ON THE PAGE! IT'S FREE, AND IF YOU WANT TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK, I'D LOVE TO HEAR IT UNDER THE ITCH PAGE OR THE DISCORD SERER ITSELF.
And on that note, I'll be off. I need a week's break to just give myself some time to finish some... other things. The dev log next week won't be a normal Slice of Them developer log, but they'll probably just be future notes for myself.
Thank you for those that began following my journey since the first developer log I've written, and I hope you look forward to what I'll make in the future! Much love!!
