Version 3.0 Changes

Hello! We're back within the year as promised. Chapter 3 will release very soon, and a few small changes have been made from version 2.0. That's right...it's More SoulSov Patch Notes Babey!

System Updates

• Starting in Chapter 3, the quick menu at the bottom of the screen will lighten in color to indicate when the Flower Glossary and Cast sections have been updated. New or updated entries will display an asterisk (*) by their name. Please note that this function is only available for Chapter 3 right now; it will be applied retroactively in a future update.
• A new ctc icon has been added for Aksendi dialogue in nvl mode. I'm still feeling this out and may or may not apply it to standard (adv) dialogue later.
• Two name labels have been updated for consistency: "Fel" is now "Félicie"  and "Lelia" is now "Lélia".
• Fel's POV indicator "The One Girl" now reappears during the last scene of Chapter 2.

Text Revisions

(Previous) "At a simple acknowledgment, the dawn's eye opens to me, and I read."

(Current) "At a simple acknowledgment, the sunrose opens to me, and I read."

Wrong flower! Huh?! How did I not notice this for two years...? Anyway, I fixed it.

"Where you walk, Sight of Fayim, let truth not hide."

This line is now in Aksendi. The aforementioned ctc icon makes its only appearance here.

(Previous) "The Shield brought you back. A search team went out to the temple after they saw some kind of light there, and..."

(Current) "The Shield brought you back. A patrol went out to the temple after she saw some kind of light there, and..."

As you might guess, this is just to clarify that Alma is talking about Fel.

(Previous) "O Architect of Our Refuge, Lord of Peace, Merciful Builder."

(Current) "O Architect of Our Refuge, Lord of Unity, Merciful Builder."

The idea is the same, but I'd like to reinforce "unity" as a central tenet of the Builder's religion.

(Previous) "They caught me on the scaffolding again. I mean, they'll throw the book at me for any reason, but that was today's."

(Current) "They caught me on the arches again. I mean, they'll throw the book at me for any reason, but that was today's."

"Scaffolding" was a poor word choice that gave the impression of a temporary structure. "Arches" refers to the protective wall located outside the Mosaic's sky screen.

A few other minor text corrections have been made.
