Bouncy Ball, Bucket and Relic Updates
Bouncy Ball
- Bouncy Ball has been updated to split into another Bouncy Ball once hits pegs enough times
- The amount of bounces required can be reduced with the newly updated Soccer Ball relic!
Relics
- Added the Balloon Relic which can be sold at any time during a round for an extra ball when you're in a tight spot
- The Eyeball Relic now causes Split Balls to split into 3 balls instead of 2
- The Slimeball Relic now causes Rock Balls to split into 4 balls instead of 3
- Crystal Ball now doubles the cash that Gold Balls give
Challenges
- Have been re-arranged for a better progression of difficulty
- The Relic Challenge (now #9) is much more brutal, now you can only have 3 relics instead of 5...
Buckets
- Charge Bucket is now Lightning Bucket! Each ball that lands in a Lightning Bucket has a 50% chance to cause lightning to strike a random bucket and immediately award that bucket's value
- Jackpot Bucket is more like a slot machine now! The first ball collected has a 10% chance to drop 20 balls, 40% chance to drop 5 balls and a 50% chance to drop nothing
Bugs
- Rounding errors were causing issues and sometimes you couldn't buy things with cash or advance to the next round even though the numbers appeared to be correct in the UI
- There is now an extra warning popup when you go to reset your save data so it's not as easy to do accidentally
- Lots of button art was updated so that hover and pressed effects are working properly
Next Up
- More balancing around the new relics, buckets and balls
- Need to fix the Shop Cost text
- More art polish in the UI and better particle effects across the board
- Thinking about giving the player an option to enter the Relic Shop OR get something for skipping the shop to make early rounds more interesting
