MDT: Make it or Die Trying

Start of a proper HUD with a Crosshair, detailed Health Display & more!

Changelog:

New Weapon:

  • Rsh-12. Community weapon from October's contest. Currently only obtainable through the debug menu.
  • sigmaslayer. A cool axe from my belowed.

New Cosmetics:

  • M50 Joint Service General Purpose Mask. Currently only obtainable through the debug menu.
  • Altyn Helmet. Currently only obtainable through the debug menu.

Mechanics:

  • A-EtY See. This is the start of a proper HUD called A-EtY (Anti-Everything You), currently enabled by default (if not - delete your save), but will be a 3 part upgrade in a future level. This module is supposed to show the player more innfo about the items around them:
    • Crosshair. A fully customizable crosshair, with different shapes, dynamic gap and a barrel direction dot, again, most of the options can be changed in the Settings Menu
    • Hints. Outline & frame for pickups, dropped weapons, supplu crates, explodinng props & armor stand. Also shows some aditionnal info for some items (like bullets to pickup for a dropped weapon)
    • Hit Sounds & Hit Markers. Shown and played for 4 different hit types (hit, critical, kill, armor). All can be customized, you can even add custom hitsounds!
    • Grenade Throw  Trajectory. Displays a precise grenade throw trajectory (only for your grenades).
  • A-EtY Feel. This module is gonna display what the player feels, stuff like Health, Armor & Weapon Inventory. This is what has been currently done:
    • Health Bar. Shows you the exact health number, a health bar, how much damages you received and how much can be healed by your stimulator
    • Armor Health Bar. Same as health but for your helmet and vest.
    • Stimulator Bar. Shows you a charge bar for your stimulator and a use count
    • Movement Charges. Looks like the exact thing on your character's body, but on top of the healthbar instead.
  • Armor Stands now carry Armor Health info
  • Grenades bounce in the opposite normal direction if hit with a melee and colliding with a wall.
Bugs & Tweaks:
  • Fixed armor not dropping from enemies on death.
  • Fixed Melee Weapons not rotating fast enough on the first attack.
  • Fixed Weapon recoil recover time not being calculated properly.
  • Fixed Props without collision still casting AO
  • Fixed AO producing a "rainbow" effect with too many occluders stacked
  • Fixed Melee Throw zoom staying if dropped weapon and became unarmed
  • Made kicking and parrying grenades track attacker as the player
