Hey everyone!
Just wanted to give you a quick announcement that I have finally been able to order a new rendering GPU today!
It is going to be the same one as I had before but just with more memory. So RTX 3060 12GB. This is hopefully going to result in a slightly better quality as I won't have to reduce textures as much. Unfortunately that is all I can afford to get right now without having to also buy a new PSU but that is not in the cards at this time.
It's still going to take 2-5 weeks to arrive though according to the site I ordered from so in the meantime I will still be using my old backup card to setup the scenes and work on the rest of the coding and then I can just render everything when the GPU arrives as by then most of the chapter will be setup and ready to render.
Sadly, depending on when it arrives, CH2 may or may not fall out of the December release window, but it's out of my hands. I'm hoping it gets here sooner rather than later though.
