What's New
- Secret areas!
- New "endgame" content (for the demo).
- Collectibles!
- NPC companions can now be commanded to actively follow the Player or remain in place, instead of needing to be summoned.
- Fast travel points to enable backtracking throughout the entire game.
- NPC speech bubble text is now animated.
- Some new sound effects.
Changes
- Reworked physics system for carried objects! No more getting squished by having things land on your head, auto-picking-up objects, or getting things stuck in walls.
- New foreground and logo color palettes!
- New logo!
- The "command" musical sound effects for Theo are much less annoying.
- The trap pit during Theo's first appearance now gets filled in to prevent the Player from falling back in.
- Temporarily removed debug options for demo build (can still be manipulated manually in the options file).
- Several puzzles have been updates and reworked.
Bug Fixes
- NPC speech bubble text no longer stutters when the NPC is moving.
- NPC speech bubbles now remain completely within the camera.
- Objects can no longer get stuck overlapping the ground or other objects when thrown or set down by the player.
- Objects can no longer be picked up or set down through gates.
- Gate open/close sound effect no longer gets stuck if the Player moves through a door while it is playing.
- Lasso "pull" input prompt now has the correct text.
- Player can no longer launch themselves or other objects upward or downward by lassoing things in mid-air.
- Fixed several backtracking issues, such as lever, button, and gate states not saving properly.
- Updated respawn logic to target the last valid place the Player was standing to prevent possible skips.
- NPCs no longer collide with each other.
- Camera focus now properly returns to the Player after lassoing objects in mid-air.
- Lassoing large objects no longer launches the Player backward.
