Mika Mod v1.4 - Release Date Details

Hey folks! Hope everyone's doing well this November. I'm still fighting off the ravages of a cold but I'm well enough now to get back on mod duties. We've decided to move forward with the next release. We won't have all the assets we were originally hoping for. Oct has been toiling away hard on revamps and new assets for one particular character. If you've been frequenting the Discord server, you probably already know who. For anyone else, it will be a surprise. The work kept Oct busy for longer than we'd originally guessed and we now feel it best to leave the next chunk of asset work for the release after this one.

In many ways, this upcoming release is our most ambitious to date. It's longer in word count and it pushes the writing, animation and decision-and-consequence structure of the mod further than ever. It sets a high bar that we may not match again for a bit. So, here's what you'll be getting in this next update:

• 5 new core HG scenes,
• revamped design and new assets for an existing character,
• over 50,000 words of new content,
• HG content for an existing global scene,
• new animations and backgrounds,
• title cards for each scene, plus the removal of the scene title caption for all HG scenes,

We aren't going to guarantee a release date, but our expectation is we can roll this out in about one week. Maybe sooner.
