#0.70.0
This update focuses on gameplay depth, performance, and a cleaner visual experience. It’s a step towards stabilizing the systems and preparing for the next content.
The Coin Flip is now an Upgrade
The coin flip mechanic has been reworked into an upgrade you can unlock and improve, integrating it more deeply into your build strategy.
New Spinner Added
There’s a new spinner in play! Spinnes now behaves differently.
Directional Shake (Q / E)
You can now trigger directional camera shakes using Q and E, giving more feedback, control and intensity to your shots.
Starting Upgrades Selection
When starting a run, you’ll be able to choose two random upgrades.
Upgrade System Improvements
New upgrades added
Randomness tuned for more meaningful choices
Some upgrades now feature cooldowns, activation after a certain number of uses, and other conditional triggers
Ball buffs and debuffs are now shown directly on the UI, giving you clear feedback on the effects in play.
Lots of optimizations under the hood
The game should now run smoother, especially in heavy scenarios. Frame drops and stutters should be noticeably reduced.
Constellation Route Design Simplified
The astral route map now uses a more minimal placeholder design. The goal is to keep things clean and readable while I work on a coherent final art style for a future update.
UI Animation Pass
Added subtle animations to the interface to make feedback smoother and the overall experience more alive.
New SFX
Added various new sound effects across interactions, giving the world of Pinbound more texture and responsiveness.
This version is a transition point: the systems are finally starting to interlock, and the focus now shifts toward refinement and worldbuilding.
Thanks for all your feedback and support.
Stay tuned!
