Compute Manager - Roadmap

Compute Manager
A browser game made in HTML5

Roadmap Features:

  • Banking Tab - You will pay yearly taxes and be able to get loans. You will also have Investors who come to your company from time to time with offers.    - Added Partially

  • Research Points - Overtime you gain research points, this locks some features behind walls until you have enough to unlock them, there will be a way to gain them faster as well.    - Added Fully

  • Hiring Staff - You will be able to hire more people to basically speed up R&D and Hardware creation, they will also make development cost less but you will have to pay them

  • Contracts Tab - Companies will come to you for specific CPU/GPUs to develop.

  • Internet Tab - You will be able to view your past CPU/GPUs created on your companies website, and you will be able to go to competitors websites to view theirs.

  • Competitors - They will develop CPUs and steal market share, you will also be able to buy them in the internet tab.

  • News/Events Overhaul - I will completely rework the news tab to show competitor hardware and news along with huge advancements, currently it is just generic news. Also there will be world events that could make costs go up

  • Localization - If you want to help localize the game in your language for others, contact me on discord @dedotrynot, I can't pay you but, you WILL be credited! Also when the discord server opens you'll get a localization role!

After that it goes into Alpha to make sure all the core features work together nicely and are fun to play, any useless features at this point will be reworked/delayed or cut. I'll also add support for Linux and Mac at that point

THIS GAME IS NOT MEANT TO BE A COMPLETE SIMULATION, IT IS MEANT TO BE A SIMPLISTIC ALTERNATIVE TO GAMES LIKE PROCESSOR TYCOON AND HARDWARE TYCOON, IF YOU WANT A GAME LIKE THAT GO PLAY ONE OF THEM THEY ARE AMAZING GAMES!!!

This project is extremely new, anything could happen, so if I ever abandon or cancel it,  I will open source it.
