Hey Everyone !
I'd like to thank everyone for checking out Grita and providing extremely useful feedback. I'm glad to announce that I've released the first major upgrade to Grita. Here are the changes :-
Major Changes :-
Puzzles.
Added a few puzzles so that the game does not feel and play like a walking simulator. Over the next few updates the story mode will slowly transition out of the action / adventure genre to a complete puzzle game. Solving each puzzle will require choosing the right animal and using its skill.
Animal Interaction.
Added a basic animal interaction system where smaller animals will run away if a predator gets too close to them. This feature will get improved in Title Update 3 (See below).
Collectibles.
Added a few collectibles throughout the map to reward exploration by the player. When obtained each collectible will unlock direct transformation to the collected animal without needing the spot the animal in the wild. This will be extremely useful in the final boss fight.
Boss fight revamp.
Added four new attacks to the attack pool of the Mage. The Mage also gets a buff to health and defense. Hopefully you will find this version of the mage more challenging than the previous one.
Special Abilities.
When in endangered mode each animal now has their own unique special abilities. The special abilities of each animal is listed below :-
Day / Night Cycle.
Added Day / Night cycle to improve aesthetics and immersion.
