Devlog #0 Ready to Play!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 

We are excited to announce that Death’s Guide is ready for play! We’re welcoming all players to pick up the paddle and row lost souls down The River as Death itself. 

After a few weeks of hard work from our programmer, khovre, following a 5-day intensive game jam, our game is in a finished state. A huge shout out to our whole team for their patience and grace as our game made its way here. The journey has been incredible.

Our game includes:

• Three finished levels, which increase in difficulty
• Visual novel-style storytelling, with interactive dialogue at key game moments
• Voice acting on every line of dialogue
• 5 unique character portraits
• A TON of pixel art assets
• 10 songs, including a theme for each character

We’re open to more development as ideas come, but will be taking a small step back as a team to enjoy what we’ve done so far.
