JustPlayTheGame Current Progress Announcement

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping by! JustPlayTheGame will be the first game the SonKnees team has come out with so far, so first of all thank you for giving it your attention, and without further ado let's give you guys a little run down of how things are looking so far and what the plans are for the future. 

So far, the uploaded screenshots are about the extent of the visual progress that has been made. Not entirely sure if this general menu theme will stick around, so be sure to give some feedback on your thoughts about it. This game is inspired by game like Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy and ThereIsNoGame, so feelings of those games will likely be present throughout. There will be a narrator that offers to "guide" you through your gameplay experience, all the while getting more and more frustrated as the "errors" keep popping up and preventing you from "actually playing" the game.  The game will be filled with fake errors, things that just seem off-putting, and weird little minigames that are needed to be completed to get you back on track towards trying to play the game. So far, the Lights Off event is the only error created, with a Play Button Shatter and Fake Loading screen coming soon. Of course, not all errors will be made public, so as to keep a slight element of surprise, but feel free to make suggestions. Any and all feedback towards the project are appreciated, and continue to stay posted for more updates for JustPlayTheGame!
