What Is Completed

  • Implemented enemy wave system.
  • Incorporated multi-hit attacks.
  • Started prototyping the inspiration mechanic.
  • Made base skills for all six character.
  • Changed skill formatting.
  • Added status cleansing.
  • Implemented character selection.

Goals For Week 4

  • Fix game loss state.
  • Fix "All Allies" targeting.
  • Start to work on the map/starting combat.
  • Develop inspiration.
  • Implement skill triggers.

Playtest Report

  • Players struggled to understand the user interface during gameplay. 
  • It was not immediately clear who they were controlling at any given moment. 
  • Some UI elements may not have been intuitive or informative enough to guide player actions. 
  • Players were often unsure when characters or opponents were taking actions. 
  • Many players repeatedly performed the same actions throughout the session. 
  • There was minimal adaptation or strategic variation. 
  • Players seemed puzzled that no critical triggers were occurring during combat or interactions. 
  • Players were interested in the different skills available.
