Devlog - 10/23/25 - Entangled v.0.9.0 Release

Entangled
A downloadable game for Windows

>Hey y'all! Finally giving a proper game update, and I'm so glad to say that Entangled is officially back in development!

>With Version 0.9, we're bringing several updates, including:

  • Optional chase sequence tutorial
  • Partially-implemented True Nightmare difficulty setting
  • Overhauled game logic, including updated pursuer intelligence to allow enemies to roam semi-freely
  • Animated dialogue portraits

>And perhaps the feature I'm most excited to mention: Entangled now uses a disk system! In the included GameDisk.ini, Players can input specific disks and assign their Avatar. In the final game, this will translate into the game's method of choosing your playable character at the start, among other features.

>I'm also psyched to announce that Entangled will soon be getting a Kickstarter! The campaign is still in development, but once the review process and trailer are finished, I'll be posting a devlog linking to its page.

>I'm so excited to properly get back to work on this, and I'm going to do my best to deliver something fun, engaging, and meaningful. Thank you to everyone who's followed the development of Entangled so far, and welcome to anyone who joins from this update on!

>See you all again soon!
