The main goal of the Community Manager will be to regularly communicate with players, prepare and publish updates, news, and devlogs on Itch.io, inform players about new game modes, improvements, optimizations, and future plans. Your contribution will be crucial for building an active, friendly, and engaged community that supports the growth of VertlaStrike as an indie project.
Responsibilities of the Community Manager include:
Managing communication channels (Itch.io, Discord, and potentially social media)
Preparing and publishing regular updates and devlogs
Interacting with players, answering questions, and handling feedback
Collaborating with the team on marketing and PR activities
Designing and implementing community events, contests, and polls
We expect from candidates:
Experience in community management or managing online communities
Strong communication skills in English
Responsible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
Ability to create updates, news posts, and announcements independently
Understanding of the gaming scene and player needs
We offer:
Opportunity to collaborate on an indie project and gain experience in game development
Recognition in the game credits and platform presentations
Creative freedom in managing content and player communication
Future opportunities for involvement in marketing and promotion on multiple platforms
If you are interested in joining our team and helping build the community for VertlaStrike, please contact us via email or Discord. Include a brief description of your experience and, if possible, examples of previous work managing communities or creating updates.
This devlog serves as a serious announcement and invitation for those who want to be part of a growing indie project and contribute to its long-term success. Your work will be visible to players and will have a direct impact on how the VertlaStrike community grows and interacts.
