Introduced a new Mega Base Rock, a large asteroid type built specifically for long-term settlement.
Provides a stable, flat foundation for structured base layouts.
Contains a balanced mix of early-game resources such as stone, ore, and trace water.
Guaranteed spawn within travel range to make early base setup smoother.
Added a dedicated category for Base Items — structures designed to function only when built on a base.
Will includes essential power, storage, habitation, and fabrication units.
Recipes will use existing components (bars, plates, gears, pipes), tying deeper into the Fabricator chain.
First implementation of a scalable Upgrade Framework.
Upgrades use GB (produced from data servers)
Upgrade menu in new computer UI.
Two new base-only systems introduce data and upgrade management to the core loop:
Enables performing upgrades on eligible base machines.
Only buildable on a Mega Base Rock or established base platform.
Connects to the data network for management and tracking.
Generates Data Storage (GB) used by the Upgrade Console and future systems.
Also base-only; integrates with the power grid.
Lays groundwork for a future research and automation layer.

These new ingredients can be grown, cooked, or combined for higher-value meals.
