Making WIL has been a very frustrating but fun experience. I'm using Rpg maker mv for tthe first time and tbh I had trouble with tutorials for specific events. I learned using the Wiki of rpg maker way faster. I've learned to use plug ins, even tho they're a headache sometimes, they're really helpful for making games. I'd almost say essential? anyway for me, yanfly and galv have really cool plug ins and they are pretty easy to use!
what I've learnt from developing for 350 hours is probably that you should never give up.
that sounds so corny lol. anyway Cola has been my best friend during this time (fake one because I boycot the real one)
and a tipp from me, When you make a game, It doesnt have to be perfect from the start. just keep going, sitting around for hours trying to makee every little detail perfect from the start will get you nowhere, you can do that later and lastly, having a friend on call can make it way more fun. idk I like talking during work. personal prefrence!
