The laser arsenal just got a major upgrade.

Two new grid-powered towers, new research, and brighter beams make your bases deadlier than ever.

The lights were just the beginning — now your power grid can fight back.

Added two new Laser Towers:

• Advanced Laser Tower – Range 12, blue beam, 3 damage for 6 power (5 times per second).
• High-Tech Laser Tower – Range 15, purple beam, 9 damage for 27 power (5 times per second).
• Both new towers can be connected to the Power Grid, while the standard Laser Tower still operates only with batteries.
• The standard Laser Tower now fires a green laser beam.

Added two new items:

• Mirror Lens – required for building the Advanced Laser Tower.
• Advanced Circuit Board – required for building the High-Tech Laser Tower.

Added three new research topics:

• Advanced Electronics – unlocks the Advanced Circuit Board.
• Advanced Laser – unlocks the Advanced Laser Tower and the Mirror Lens.
• High-Tech Laser – unlocks the High-Tech Laser Tower.

🔧 Fixes & Polish

Dozens of smaller improvements went in too — smoother controls, clearer UI, and more intuitive interactions. Highlights:

• Fixed: Character movement no longer causes subtle 1-pixel wobbling.
• Fixed: Item Tooltips in battery configurations no longer hide behind the energy symbol.
• Fixed: Accidental clicks when opening configuration windows no longer happen.
• Fixed: Starting the game with the tutorial enabled now correctly keeps the game paused, so you can actually read the first step before enemies show up.
• Fixed: Projectiles now render in front of units (where they belong).
• Fixed: The Pickaxe cursor no longer appears while the Commence Extraction window is open.
• Fixed: You can now only build on visible tiles.
• Fixed: BatteryLight and ElectricLight now appear under Machines, not Products.
• Fixed: Laser Tower is correctly listed under Machines as well.
