Hello again I've made some changes to SHIV to make it feel smoother to play as a whole.
Changes
Removal of Progression and Ranks of Equipment.
When I have run SHIV I have skipped over Rank 0. After thinking on it, I think it might be better to remove progression and let players have all of the cool things right at the beginning.
Page 2 – “Each player makes their Vagrant together by….”
It was not clearly spelled out that character creation should be a group effort.
Page 3 – “Each Equipment has an Effective Range (ER), the maximum distance at which Vagrants can use the Equipment.”
Making Effective Range feel less ridged
Page 3 – “Vagrants are defined by the Equipment they own. This Equipment has been made by them and honed specifically for their use. Vagrants can have only 2 Equipment at one time.”
Following the removal of Progression section I had to clean up the text here.
Page 4 - Rod -- Flame Arrow
"Make a Magic roll to cause one Enemy in Far range to take 1 damage, and then burn for 1 damage at the start of its next turn."
Less words on Flame Arrow text, same old destruction.
