Version 1.04 is out with the following changes:
* All versions (ST(e),Windows/Linux):
- Various minor tweaks, fixes, text corrections, missing sound effects...
- Fixed a crash that could occur near the end of the game. Thanks @kirkman for the report.
* ST(e) version:
- For people whose monitor could not display the entire screen, Galactic Panic can now use the top border to shift the screen up. Start the game with GP_TOP.PRG, use left and right arrows keys (not while a dialogue or cutscene) to shift the game screen up or down if needed. Screen position is saved when quitting the game. This wouldn't have been possible without the work and help of the amazing Zerkman!
- YM sound effects now play after the music stops on ST (oops!).
* Back to the clafoutis:
- In his Oric game "Encounter HD", DefenceForce incorporated a clafoutis recipe and even mentioned Galactic Panic, so I couldn't let that slide without returning the favor. There's a demo, go ahead and try it! It's a really nice game!
If you have savegames to keep, just transfer the .SAV and IDX files in the root folder. (For the standalone versions, you'll find those in Hatari/hdd/GPANIC)
