🧩 Devlog #6 — Big Interaction Rework & Creepy Mannequins Update
Hey everyone! 👋
This update focuses on polishing the game’s core interactions, improving atmosphere, and making the world feel even more alive (and unsettling).
Here’s what’s new 👇
🖐️ Improved Item Interaction System
  - The entire item pick-up and handling system has been completely reworked for smoother and more realistic movement.

  - Items now keep their colliders active at all times — no more phasing through walls when you’re holding something!

  - Code refactoring across old classes to make interactions more stable, readable, and easier to maintain.

🎧 Audio & Atmosphere
  - Added several new sound effects to enhance the environment and player feedback.

  - Introduced a valve neglect event — if the player ignores it for too long, all pressure levels spike to 100, summoning an enemy accompanied by a chilling sound cue.

  - Adjusted ambient audio balance for a deeper and more immersive feel.

⚙️ Settings & Customization
  - Added mouse sensitivity settings available in every scene.

  - Unified all game settings so they now persist correctly across all scenes.

📦 New Tasks & Level Updates
  - Added a brand new supply restocking task near the staircase area — stack supplies back onto the shelves!

  - Reworked the office area into two distinct sections:

      - One dedicated to the trash disposal task,

      - Another containing the fuse box, now accompanied by several mannequins.

  - Highlighted the current room on all wall maps for better navigation.

🩻 Mannequin Madness
  - Added multiple mannequins across various rooms.

  - Their behavior has been updated — they now alternate which one is active at any given time.

  - Still experimenting whether activation will be random or proximity-based, but it already adds a ton of tension.

That’s all for this update!
Each iteration gets us closer to a more cohesive, reactive, and terrifying experience.
Thanks for following the development — stay tuned for more improvements and a few scares 👀
