Just a very small update - with a rather important fix.
Several users have complained that a white or black fringe can be seen on the edges of some overlapping sprites when using the Linear scale filter method. I had previously added workarounds for this, but I was recently educated on the cause of the problem - so now it's fixed for real!
As such, I have removed the "Hard Edges" option (one of the old workarounds) from the Advanced menu as it's no longer needed. It was only half-working anyway. I've left the Alpha Cutoff option there in case people want it.
