This version saw some minimal changes from the original:
A note about that first thing, "sacrifice": I had actually cut that from the original version at the last minute because it seemed weird that you could avoid the blood cost of a deadly blow by choosing to lose a limb. Shouldn't losing a limb also hurt pretty badly? I wanted this rule back in, though, because I do want you to be able to deliberately sacrifice your reputation, or an advantageous position, or a weapon. Had to clarify that this means losing "blood" isn't instead of some other condition, but reflects some other condition.
At some point I may also need to clarify that "Change Course" is unique among other measures in that it may be the only thing you need to do to avoid any amount of cost. Other measures affect costs 1-for-1, but that one is basically, "If you realize you're in over your head, you can give up your turn to rethink that action." We'll see how it feels in playtest next weekend.
