A downloadable game


This version has the character animations. In addiiton, the Saeus destroying picture ability and a new objective to collect mushrooms which serves as the creature's resource to use in exchange for activating either the hiding or the destroying pictures ability.


Observations:

  • The creature should be able to blind the other characters for a while as an ability (and add UI and sound effects to that ability)
  • We were planning on make a triangle UI that points where the creature's direction are on the human character's screen. However, the triangle may cause it to be too easy to find the creature.
  • Rotate speed should be faster.
  • Put minimap on r1/r2.
  • Assign display according to playerNum.
  • Maybe the traps shouldn't be visible.
  • Maybe a common place for the players to go to to find resources and stuff.
  • Can see creature lighting on the minimap, which wasn't supposed to happen.
  • There is still a problem with the lak and pond colliders

Feedbacks:

  • Players can see each other on the minimap.
  • Maybe the mushrooms can be seen on the minimap.
  • The journalists may be able to see each other on the minimap.
  • A visual feedback when taking pictures would be nice.
  • The should be an end state.
  • Triangle on the screen hinting that some one is close.
  • UI can be more clear by making them into different colors, symbols, etc.
  • The characters can be trapped for longer so that the Ranger can run back to check who it was.
  • More mushrooms in the environment.
  • Change tree billboarding/ a large mesh for trees at the corners.
  • Have minimap at corner.
