Launching our 8-bit Adventure Pack!

Over 1,400 sprites for use in your top-down adventure games, with a tile size of 16 x 16 and a limited retro color palette for that authentic feel.

This pack was originally designed for a game about the Aztec princess Papantzin, who would go on a quest to calm various Aztec deities who had become angered (hence the theme of some of the characters and enemies).

We made every graphic you would ever need to finish a game of this type... and then decided to release it for you to use in your own projects instead!

Here's everything that's in the pack:

Tile Sets

• 333 overworld tiles, including meadows, forests, deserts, beaches, mountains and towns.
• 323 indoor tiles, including houses, dungeons, caves and castles.
• 12 animated tiles for moving grass and water.

Characters

• Main hero character Papantzin with 107 different poses.
• 35 enemies including slimes, skeletons, spiders, bombs, beetles and more.
• 35 NPCs with 346 animation frames including templates to make your own.
• 5 bosses based on Aztec deities.
• 7 Animals including Alpaca, Axolotl, Butterfly, Coati, Pigeons, Rabbits and Robins.
