In this devlog #2, I present the main player controls:
When the player starts sprinting, a stamina bar discreetly appears to show endurance, which gradually decreases. If stamina reaches zero, sprinting is disabled until it recovers. Stamina naturally regenerates when the player stops or walks, adding an important strategic dynamic.
This mechanic is especially crucial in the gameplay as it forces players to think before acting, especially in hostile zones where they often have no allies nearby to balance the odds. Facing numerical inferiority, players must decide whether to risk confrontation or quietly retreat without causing trouble, since they cannot sprint indefinitely to escape enemies. This adds realism and tension to these situations.
You'll also notice that in the pause menu, you can now adjust mouse sensitivity directly for better gameplay comfort.
