Hey everyone!
This is my second update — kind of — with some quality-of-life improvements and new content.
I hope some of you will try it out and share your feedback!
I’m currently working on curses and blessings to add permanent effects to your character.
Since I’m a solo developer and also a student, please don’t expect updates too fast.
I’m still learning how Ren’Py works, and my holidays are almost over :/
Added one new biome — featuring two new enemies and a unique atmosphere.
Added new lore entries and discoveries within the dungeon.
Expanded combat variety with more abilities, items, and tactical options during battles.
Added a Camp feature to replenish sanity and hunger (not fully implemented yet).
Refined the roguelike battle system — combat now feels more dynamic with improved turn order logic and smarter enemy AI.
Adjusted balancing for damage scaling, healing, and item drop rates (drops are currently guaranteed).
Added basic progression rewards between waves to support long-term survival runs.
Fixed several logic bugs in enemy targeting and ability triggers.
Corrected minor text and grammar issues across multiple scenes.
Improved overall performance and cleaned up Ren’Py scripts.
Updated some backend systems to make future content (new areas, enemies, and mechanics) easier to add.
Continue developing new biomes and encounter events.
Polish the UI and improve battle feedback visuals.
Work on saving/loading systems for roguelike runs.
Experiment with deeper combat mechanics and lore integration.
Currently creating hand-drawn enemy sprites.
Adding sound effects.
