FPCRL Prototype update (01)
The current state of FPCRL is shown in the video.
The things I have implemented so far;
- Movement speed increases the longer you run, the more you move, the faster you'll move
- Grapple to pull yourself towards a location
- Cable between you and the grapple point, this will be replaced but the cable was needed to show the grapple
- Wall running, you can run along a wall, or any vertical surface, as long as you want
- Double jump, twice the jumps for twice the fun
- Shotgun with random spread, automatically reloads, 1 shot = 5 projectiles (to begin with)
- Enemies can see and hear the sounds you make, and will chase you if they know you exist
- Retro shader, gives a nice overall vibe and ties it all together
- An initial audio pass, there's no music (shown in the trailer)
- An initial VFX pass on enemy death
