Game designing is a wonderful creative form of art!
With the development of the Doll Maker, the intention has always been to not stay within the limits of reality and normality.
The elevator in the forest is a good example - cause why would someone ever put an elevator there? Well, because theres nothing normal about the world of the Doll Maker. Conventions and the rules of our society does not apply here and nothing is what it seem. The elevator is there to serve a purpose, but who would in their right mind put it there?
