Hey everyone!
We are a team of three student developers, and we are incredibly excited to share our Final Year University Project with the itch.io community: Watchpoint Simulator!
Have you ever wanted to play a strategy game where the challenge comes from outsmarting genuinely unpredictable AI? That was the core question that drove this project.
Phase 1: The Setup (First-Person Strategy)
You are the security manager. You get a budget, a time limit, and an entire store to secure. Your job is to walk the aisles and strategically design the perfect surveillance system. You'll need to:
Phase 2: The Simulation (Top-Down Observation)
When you're ready (or the timer runs out!), you start the shift. The game switches to a top-down tactical view, and you can no longer interfere. You can only watch as your plan is put to the test against a flood of autonomous AI customers.

Customers don't follow scripts; they have randomized personalities and goals. They might shop normally, but if the opportunity arises, they might decide to steal an item or break a rule. Your system must detect them, and your AI guard must react in time!

We want to improve this game, find bugs, and things that can be done better to create a more robust surveillance simulation experience<span class="ng-star-inserted" <the="" heart="" of="" our="" game="" is="" a="" custom="" <="" span="">
