===================================================================
Version Focus: Core Feature Solidification & System Completion
Ritual System · Mastery XP Integration · Graduation Overhaul · Skill Tree Rebalance · Alchemical Decay
---
This major update was made to solidify core game mechanics and features before working on modularization and VFX/SFX updates. The ritual casting framework, mastery & resource economy, and grimoire progression have been refined into their intended forms.
> "With each glyph burned, dissolved, or made eternal, the Architect learns to shape memory itself."
---
- Glyphs now decay! Through the maintenance of your spell engine, Architects can manipulate the states of their glyphs.
- Spells and skill tree updates can prevent the flow of decay.
- Replaces the old memorized ritual system with a new Memory Imprint framework.
- Spend Mastery XP (1:1 ratio) to charge Imprint Slots for instant ritual casting.
- Unlock more slots by performing rituals repeatedly.
- Features real-time cooldowns (30 / 60 / 120 min by ritual tier).
- Added Discovery and Memory tabs within the ritual interface.
- Mastery XP now fuels Imprint charging directly.
- Running low on XP can downgrade mastery levels, creating strategic tension between growth and usage.
- Mastery Level influences the costs of Glyphs.
---
- A comprehensive tutorial introducing the Graduation mechanic added to the Pattern Library.
- Auto-triggers when five grimoire pages are unlocked. Can also be accessed after selecting the Graduation Progression section.
- Rebalanced Advanced and Master Research costs for late-game challenge.
- Elemental Mastery tiers now require significantly greater material investment.
- Added 42 new Elemental Enhancements for Ignis, Aqua, Terra, Ventus, Spatium, and Chronos.
- Branch bonuses include:
- Reduced Chronos Battery synergy multiplier from 0.10 to 0.01 per connection.
Decay effects have been implemented across all seven advanced alchemical spells:
- Calcinate: Burns all glyphs on the page (except automation/Chronos/Spatium); gain +100 of each element burned.
- Dissolution: Slows decay by 50% for 30 seconds.
- Separate: Grants permanence to one random decaying glyph.
- Conjunct: Pauses decay globally for 60 seconds.
- Ferment: Extends glyph lifespans by 10–15%.
- Distillation: Resets decay timers on all glyphs.
- Coagulare: Prevents all decay globally for several minutes.

- Added Glyph integration to the Patterns Tab.
- New sorting options by type (Spells / Glyphs).
- Expanded details include glyph levels, costs, and effects.
- Added Graduation tutorial and lore integration tab.
- Improved responsiveness and analytics tracking.

This update represents the mechanical perfection stage of Sigilcraft.
All major systems now operate with harmony.
The foundation is stable, allowing future updates to focus on content, narrative, and presentation. (Ideally anyway)
---
Will of course update when needed, but primarily going to be focusing on modularizing the game, ideally before any more major changes.

Reworking of the general text/lore/ flavor of the game. Excerpt:
With trembling hands, you inscribe the final glyphs into your Grimoire. A Warding Sigil degreed in transit with a Chronos Battery, just as the frayed notebook annotated. Dimension wrapped around duration, a volatile pairing, the very are thickens around you. Weeks have been spent building toward this moment, stabilizing circuits of lesser spells, grinding through elemental rituals, until your Spell Engine hummed with readiness. A flare of blue and a flash of pink, and you notice around you the flow of time itself has halted. The world stops. Dust hangs frozen in the lamplight. Your own breath catches in your throat. Then the glyph fractures, decay rushing in like a tide, and time crashes forward again. *But you felt it. That impossible stillness. And already you're reaching for your quill, desperate to inscribe what you learned before the memory fades, before entropy reclaims even the echo of your first successful Singularity.
