Hi everyone,
I spent last night for two hours working on the next patch. I was not able to work on the 1st, and not until late at night on the 3rd. Today I'm doing this devlog earlier as for some reason today I'm feeling a bit under the weather so I need some proper rest. Hopefully you can expect a much bigger devlog tomorrow. No screenshots not until tomorrow's devlog as I'm trying to get this out today before I go rest.
Upgraded the Idaho map to include tooltips.
Fixed Wisconsin county-level data for presidential and gubernatorial elections. Previously, all Wisconsin counties had no in-game data. Now the Wisconsin map should work properly.
Candidates’ polling now automatically updates when you generate or re-generate coalitions in the election simulator.
Upgraded the party editor modal within the election simulator.
Overhauled the party creator in the Creator Hub. You can now:
Select policy stances
Create internal factions
Save and load custom parties
Added a scenario editor in the main menu (This is a basic version of it for now):
Choose a country for the scenario
Set country values
Determine which parties are available (custom, random, or scenario-specific)
You can now edit, create, and add custom parties directly into a campaign.
Party logos can be generated randomly, and you can now zoom and pan to make logo creation easier.
Wiki data now fetches correctly in the build.
Fixed reporting issues where counties would jump to 100% before the state had fully reported.
Stopped independents from running in primaries.
Corrected strange population vote scaling in presidential elections (e.g., counties reporting impossible vote totals).
Fixed issues with campaign hours caused by starting, quitting, or having jobs in-game.
