Hi
Unity made an announcement last night that there was a security vulnerability found in games created in Unity versions 2017.1 and later on Android, Windows, Linux, and macOS. This affects Fated Flatline as it is included with the effected versions. Unity has released a patch to fix these issues. Unity offered 2 ways to apply the patch. One was to rebuild the entire project in the new version (best for projects that are in active development) and the other was to run the finished application through a patcher.
We have been working on a Fated Flatline patch and has left our project files a bit untested to ensure the base game still runs fully properly. We have opted to update using the patcher for now, then plan to properly rebuild the project when we are ready to release the new patch. However, this patcher only has the ability to update Android, Windows, and macOS. Unfortunately, there is no way to currently patch Linux builds. For that reason, we have taken the Linux version of the game offline for now. The Windows and macOS versions have been patched and are safe to play. We plan to bring the Linux version of the game back in the future.
Thank you for your understanding.
