The updates aren't that many this time, but here they are anyway!
Changelog
- GAMEPLAY
- Power-Ups
- Speed-Boost removed and replaced with Homing Bullets. Same functionality as the previous version, but now separated as its own power-up.
- Fire-Power now has 25 different levels. Each increment causes an increase in firing rate. Every five power-ups, the number of bullets increases and firing rate
- Enemies
- Background scrolling speed slightly slowed, which slows enemy speed
- Enemy Minefield 1 shoots a little slower
- Enemy Minefield 2 flies a little slower
- Player's default firing rate has been reduced to balance for slower enemies and more power-up options
- VISUAL
- Sprites for power-ups changed to look distinct from Enemy Drones
- Drone 6 color changed to looks visually distinct from other drones
- Background scrolling slowed to make the sea look distant
- Bullet Impact effects last a little longer
- Explosion animations play a little longer
- AUDIO
- New BGM added to the game
- UI
- New Button type introduced to allow changing difficulty and volume using left/right arrow keys
- BGM can now be changed from the Settings Menu through Pausing during game
- Score Label color on HUD and score-pop color up on destroying enemy are now both yellow to reduce confusion
- ENGINE INFRASTRUCTURE
- Enemy Generation now counts update cycles for more precise enemy spawning
