CatRPG: Dice Defense – Jam Build Notes (Post-Submission)

Thanks for checking out my #ScoreSpaceJam build! I shipped with ~60 seconds left, so here’s what’s in and what’s next.

✅ In this build

Fast tower defense loop (free-pathing enemies)

Dice roll minigame that modifies stats

Basic leaderboard via PlayFab (email required to submit)

Guest play works without an account

⚠️ Known issues

Archer fires slower than intended; Fishmonger fires too fast (balancing soon)

Occasional targeting weirdness at high enemy speeds

Some UI rough edges; minimal SFX/juice in jam build

🎯 Short-term plan

Allow score submit without email (or add local leaderboard fallback)

Add SFX, particles, and quick polish passes

Tighten tower fire-rate + targeting; unify projectile handling

QoL: clearer dice effects UI

🕹️ How to play

Place towers, hit “Start Next Wave,” roll the dice to modify stats.

Survive as long as you can and post your score (guest play works; leaderboard submit currently needs email).
