Pull or Let Go
A browser game made in HTML5

This update focuses on game structure design, story development, and gameplay mechanics.


In the first stage, I conducted extensive brainstorming, beginning with the theme and then moving on to the story itself. I wanted it to be logical but also engaging, and at the same time, I hoped my game could inspire some meaningful reflection. 


From my initial idea of “whether to help or not,” I expanded it into the theme of school bullying.


At the beginning, I wanted to combine the narrative structures of Gauntlet, Time Cave, and Loop. However, I also wanted to design the game where the player would earn different points based on their choices for fixed problems, and those points would influence the ending. Because of this, I eventually decided to use Gauntlet as the main narrative structure. I mapped out the choices and their corresponding outcomes, though I have to admit, it was quite a headache.
