After the release of CROSSNIQ+, we've received reports from a small number of Windows users that video backgrounds are not appearing during play in CROSSNIQ+.
This is due to an as-of-yet unidentified compatibility issue, most likely between user video decoding chipsets and Unity's H264 codec implementation - a problem beyond our direct control.
However, after some testing, we've released an optional standalone patch installer for users experiencing these issues which has fixed the problem for all test users.
You can download the patch installer from the attachment to this post, or under the "Demo" section of the main page.
Make sure to follow the instructions in the readme file, and please reach out to us if your video issues persist. Also, a reminder that this patch is for Windows users only.
