Surviving Another World
A browser game made in HTML5

There were a few things that I didn’t expect when I was making this game. I went into it with a good mindset and a story I enjoyed, but my first complication was that I made the scope of the story too big. I wanted the plot to be short and concise, but as I was writing, I realized that the direction I was going in would take too long to finish. Because of that, the story ended abruptly. Moving forward, I’ll plan out my story better so I can create a short, sweet gameplay loop that has room for growth but doesn’t leave the player feeling like they’re playing an unfinished project. The second thing I noticed was the limitations of Twine; there were things I wanted to implement that I’ve seen in visual novels, but the program didn't allow for it
