- Battles now look much more cinematic.
- Attacks now occur with pauses, and accompanying text also appears with delays to make it easier to assess what is happening.
- Stray shots can not burn trees around targets
- Rockets now fly in a straight line like in MechWarrior games, rather than like in the Macross anime.
- Infantry no longer receive penalties for jumping and do not receive bonuses for standing still. It
- The infantry also no longer has a rear.
- Critical hits no longer take effect immediately, but only on the next turn (as per the rules).
- More information about critical damage is now displayed on the screen in a more understandable format.
- Camera in story mode now uses 50-degree FOV instead of 90, and uses tilt shift effect
- Several additional liveries have been added, notably Marik and Davion now have iconic color schemes.
- Rangefinder laser staying on screen after the attack was fixed at last
- The arena is open, but it is not fully functional. Currently, there are no rankings, and only battles against one team are available. This is more of a test of the stadium and the mode. Bug reports and complaints about issues in this mode will not be accepted.
